The Board of the Student Christian Center (SCC) gathered with Pastor Dianna and her family this past week to celebrate her retirement. Thanks to Pastor Dianna, our half-time pastor, and the hard work, dedication, and prayers of many, this ministry has grown significantly in its efforts to share the good news of Jesus’ love with students, staff, and faculty over the last ten years.
Now we are all invited to prayerfully ask for Christ’s guidance to help us look towards what comes next, including a call process for the next SCC pastor.
The Student Christian Center is an ecumenically supported campus ministry of the Lutheran, Methodist and Reformed Churches at SUNY New Paltz. Redeemer’s Synodical Deacon Klaus Jonietz serves as Board President and Synodical Deacon Bill Mennenga has been asked to serve as interim director. Pastor Tobias also serves on the Board.
